Manager, Chemical Dependency Programs

Job Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing all fiscal, operational, personnel, and administrative functions related to the DUI Program.

  • Develops and implements policies and procedures resulting in high quality services, fiscal stability, and administrative efficiency and standardization
  • Manages financial services to ensure accountability, compliance with accounting policies, and fiscal integrity is maintained
  • Oversees marketing activities throughout the community, court, and local agencies to ensure continued participant referrals and positive public relations
  • Maintains  necessary licensure and/or accreditation in compliance with Federal, State and Local licensure and statutory requirements
  • Supervises Program Supervisors to ensure all participant services are performed in accordance with all relevant guidelines
  • Ensures staffing levels are in line with standardized staffing metrics
  • Establishes, reviews, and revises program policies and procedures to comply with company policy, County contract (if applicable), and State regulations to enhance quality assurance and cost effectiveness
  • Prepares all required company, County, and State reports
  • Serves as a liaison with corporate, courts, attorneys, County and State alcohol programs and other agencies related to the business
  • Ensures personnel providing direct service to patients meet all requirements stipulated by regulation, and the facility has documentation available to verify compliance
  • Liaisons with IT staff regarding infrastructure needs

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years work experience in the behavioral health field, specifically providing alcohol and/or other drug treatment or recovery services
  • Three to five years’ experience directly supervising staff including hiring, providing disciplinary action, performance management, coaching and goal setting
  • Two years’ experience in management of an AOD program
  • Two years program development and marketing experience
  • One year experience directing the preparation of budgets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Business or related field or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred

Certifications / Requirements:

  •  Certified AOD Counselor preferred
  • Registered with a certified agency within 6 months of hire and certified within 5 years
  • Licensed to practice behavioral health services preferred • Valid Driver’s license
